Shopify app development: custom and embedded apps
When a feature needs a database, private API keys or another system, it doesn't belong in theme code. We build Shopify apps that run inside your admin, add blocks to your storefront safely and keep secrets on the server — and we run our own app, AppSorcerer, in production.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between a custom app and a public app?
A custom app is built for one store (or your group of stores) and isn't listed in the Shopify App Store. A public app is listed for any merchant and must pass Shopify's review. We build both.
Can an app add things to our storefront?
Yes, through theme app extensions. They add app blocks that your team places in the theme editor, without anyone editing theme code.
Can you look after the app after launch?
Yes, if you'd like us to. Shopify releases new API versions regularly, and we can keep your app current, hosted and monitored.
Can you build an app to sell on the Shopify App Store?
Yes. We build public apps with Shopify billing and help prepare them for Shopify's review — we went through the same steps for our own app, AppSorcerer.
